Starcity Golf Course opened in 2003. The course was designed by Marlowe Kittelson.
Starcity Golf Course plays to a par-36 for 9-holes and maximum 9-hole distance of 2,768 yards.
The well thought-out design will present even experienced golfers with a challenging set of links and includes sand traps, trees and water hazards. The site also features a putting green, RV parking and soon, a clubhouse. Organizers are so confident of the course's success, they have purchased adjacent acerage to expand the course to 18 holes.
This golf course was built by volunteers, which cut the original estimated cost of nearly $1 million down to less than $400,000.

The Star City golf course is a great value. I like that you can tee off right away and I can get around the course in a reasonable amount of time. Their are also many water hazards on the course that can get you into trouble. The ninth green is a killer. You have to be right on for your approach shot or you will be in a lagoon that surrounds the green. The staff at the clubhouse are always friendly and are eager to help you with anything you may need. They have a great grill and bar area, and have a soup and salad bar on weekdays. I highly recommend this golf course.
